| In a statement that aims to reassess the usage of the term ‘outsider’ in an art world where no style or subject appears to be untouchable; Richard Meaghan and Andrew Foulds curate a show in which they challenge an exciting group of artists to produce work that would sit within the rarefied atmosphere of a contemporary Salon, asking the participants to respond to the aesthetic properties and historical baggage particular to this setting. |
